What Market Health represents

Market Health is a contextual reading of the current BTC/USDT market environment for the selected timeframe. It helps users evaluate whether several kinds of market evidence are broadly aligned, mixed, or changing.

It is not a prediction, an order instruction, or a probability of profit. A strong or improving state can still reverse, and a weak state can coexist with short-term price advances.

Broad input categories

Market Health considers implemented market evidence across broad categories. The public methodology describes their roles without publishing proprietary formulas, private thresholds, or tuning values.

  • Trend describes directional structure across the selected context.
  • Momentum describes the pace and persistence of recent movement.
  • Volume and participation help assess how much activity accompanies price change.
  • Smart-money activity adds context from qualifying large-market executions without identifying traders or wallets.
  • Broader context includes the active timeframe, recency, completed data, and surrounding price structure.

How to interpret changes

Direction and persistence matter more than an isolated reading. A gradually strengthening state supported by price structure and participation carries different context from a brief spike that quickly reverses. Compare changes with completed candles and related tools instead of treating colour or a single percentage as a standalone signal.

Timeframe, recency, and availability

Market Health is specific to the selected timeframe. Shorter timeframes can change more quickly and contain more noise; longer timeframes usually change more slowly and describe a broader market regime.

Availability follows the access state shown in the live product. Where the interface labels Market Health as delayed, the reading describes an earlier market state. Realtime access does not eliminate exchange latency, service interruptions, or the need to wait for relevant data.

Market Health is separate from the strategy Health Score

The Market Health indicator and the standardized Health Score used by the Smart Money SuperTrend strategy are separate systems. Market Health is one source of market context. The strategy Health Score combines its own documented components for strategy evaluation. Do not interpret either value as a substitute for the other. Read the Smart Money SuperTrend methodology.

Limitations and false certainty

Market Health can be affected by incomplete or delayed data, abrupt regime shifts, unusual liquidity, noisy shorter timeframes, and market behaviour not represented by its implemented inputs. It cannot observe every venue, participant, motive, or future event.

Avoid converting a contextual state into false precision. Historical alignment does not make the same relationship permanent, and no threshold removes the need for independent risk management. Market Health is informational software, not financial advice or a guarantee of future performance.
